Formed in 2010, RecoveryTrek principals have well over 100 combined years experience in serving clients in health care, information technology, education, and government sectors.


Executive Team

Kirk Cizerle, Founder & CEO
Kirk brings over 20 years of experience and proven excellence in Information Technology and Technical Management. Prior to forming RecoveryTrek, Kirk was the Chief Information Officer for FirstLab (Third Party Administrator of Drug and Alcohol Testing Programs). He has extensive experience serving the federal, state & local governments and healthcare industries. With numerous successful testing programs and propriety applications under his belt, Kirk has perfected his ability to customize and design solutions for each and every customer.

Kirk Cizerle graduated from the University of North Carolina where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry (1994) and then went on to obtain his Masters Degree in Business Administration (2006).

Frank Cizerle, Managing Principal, President & CFO

Frank brings strong financial knowledge, operational skills, executive leadership experience and program development to every aspect of RecoveryTrek.  Frank has served at the VP level in both private and public colleges and as the Director of the U.S. State Department’s Embassy School. 

Prior to RecoveryTrek, Frank’s accomplishments include managing a $21.4 million dollar labor budget, nearly $11 million dollar operating budget and a capital account in excess of $63 million. 

He managed all funds within a 0.1% of budget and projections.  Frank is responsible for achieving new gross revenues in excess of $5 million, with 50+% to the general fund within three years startup of new programs.


Chris Roames, Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Chris Roames joins RecoveryTrek with over two decades dedicated to healthcare leadership. Chris most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of FSSolutions, a Third-Party Administrator of Drug and Alcohol Testing Programs, where he helped to guide the company’s most notable decade of growth and product expansion. He has extensive operational and business development leadership experience and has worked with state programs to Fortune 100 companies to implement and manage secure healthcare compliance.


Chris Roames is a graduate of Victory College and has led goodwill relief missions to over a dozen nations. Earlier in his career Chris held executive leadership roles with Assurant Health and CIGNA.
